"For years I had struggled with getting rid of my belly and constantly felt defeated. I am 30 years old and for the most part am very active. I worked out six days a week and tried ever diet out there .I still could not get the results I wanted. I finally decided in May of this year to make a consultation .I choose Dr. White because he performed liposuction and breast augmentation on my mother 15 years ago and did an amazing job. Therefor I went in met with Dr.White and literally 2 hours later scheduled my operation for liposuction of the stomach and arms for six months later. I walked out of his office feeling so ensured and excited for what was to come. I am not going to lie I was very skeptical for 2 reasons. One I had never had surgery and the second did not know what to expect. Nevertheless surgery day came and I could not have felt more excited. From the hospital staff to Dr. White I had never felt more comfortable and assured. Dr.White literally walks you through ever step and takes such pride in his work. The surgery went amazing there was literally no pain at all and 3 weeks out of my surgery I was in a bodysuit for Halloween. It’s been two months since my surgery and I cannot explain how happy I am with my results. My friends ask me if I would do it again and the answer is YES!!!!!!"- C.B. / Google / Dec 12, 2018
"I have been wanting a tummy tuck for years. I have had 2 c sections, one scar is vertical and one scar is horizontal. I am petite (5'1" & 106 lbs) and in fairly good shape so anytime I wore a bikini I was very self conscious, so I finally decided to do something about it. I had another procedure with another well known plastic surgeon in Dallas that was recommended several years ago and was pleased with him, but this time decided to try Dr. White because one of my best friends recommended him. It was the best decision I have ever made. After the 2 hour consult, I immediately booked my surgery. I felt so confident about the surgery & I didn't feel that way last time. He is a perfectionist, and I feel like with my scarring, my size, and the amount of skin he had to work with, no other doctor would have been able to accomplish it. His aftercare is night & day compared to the previous surgeon I used. There is no comparison. I'm thrilled with results! Highly recommend Dr. White!!"- R. / Healthgrades / Mar 07, 2020
"Dr. Steven White is AWESOME!! I had been wanting a breast augmentation for years, and I’ve always been hesitant because of course I didn’t want to get botched or infected. I knew picking the right doctor meant everything, and thank God I picked Dr. White. I told him what I envisioned in the first consultation, and he gave me exactly what I wanted. I haven’t had any problems, I’m about a month and a half post op and don’t even feel like I had surgery. My breast look AMAZING. I’m super happy!"- L.B. / Google / Mar 05, 2020
"Dr. White is hands down the best plastic surgeon! I was so nervous when I arrived to my consultation because surgery is surgery whether it’s cosmetic or otherwise. But I was so impressed with Dr. White’s expertise, attention to detail and honesty that I ended up scheduling my breast augmentation surgery that day! Now that I am almost 4 months out I am so happy with my results! My implants have settled perfectly (I was informed that it is a process). But Dr. White and his sweet staff of ladies walked me through the entire evolution of my breasts. Thank you guys so much! I love my new look!"- 1.1. / Google / Feb 25, 2020
"Dr. White is amazing! Very personable and made you feel very excited instead of nervous for surgery. I had breast augmentation and the recovery was cake, first couple of days were rough but as long as you follow all of his guidelines you’ll be at 100% in no time. Love the results and I will go back to Dr.White for any future plastic surgery. I’m Colombian so many family members have gotten surgery overseas and they were shocked to see I had literally no bruising. I’ve had other friends get it done by surgeons here in the states and they were told to never do chest exercises again...but Dr. White gives you no limitations once you’re full healed. I love to work out and this hasn’t gotten in the way at all! It’s just way more exciting to wear sports bras to the gym :)My mom came with me to the surgery and she was nervous at first but even Dr. White was able to reassure her she had nothing to be concerned about and she loved knowing I was in great hands. Love my results! Don’t be scared, you’ll have ZERO regrets! Swimsuit and dress shopping has never been more fun! I’m leaving this review because I was so scared and hesitant, but one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself."- L.C. / Google / Feb 25, 2020
Types of Injectables
The market for injectable fillers has exploded over the last decade; offering numerous options and brands for patients to consider.
A fat transfer is a process that takes fat from one body part and directly transfers it to an area of the face to add volume. This type of filler offers good results, but may not last as long because the body will naturally absorb some of the injected fat.
Collagen is a protein made up of amino-acids. It can be derived from the human body or animals (known as bovine collagen). Collagen feels very natural when injected. It is commonly used in the lips for lip augmentation.
Calcium hydroxyapatite is a substance found naturally in human bones. It is a mineral-like compound and one of the heavier derma fillers. This particular filler treatment is generally used for deep crevices and creases.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that exists in the human body. It can be found in connective and skin tissue and cartilage. It is extracted, reformulated and then offered as a derma filler. It is a popular choice because of its compatibility.
Polylactic acid is a synthetic substance created and used as a filler. This particular substance works differently than the other fillers because, once injected, it stimulates collagen production. Therefore, results will not be immediate but will appear gradually over time.
The primary semi-permanent filler on the market today is polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). This filler contains a low concentration of microspheres suspended in a larger amount of purified collagen gel. PMMA is more solid and heavier than most other fillers. It is used for deep wrinkles, deep contours and crevices, and is sometimes used as a permanent implant during reconstructive surgery.
During/After the Procedure
Prior to treatment, the practitioner will assess various aspects of the face and make marks directly on the skin to note where the injection sites will be. The face will be cleansed and a local anesthetic will be applied to help numb the top layer of skin. Using a syringe with a fine needle, the filler will be injected into the marked areas until the desired fullness has been achieved. Most patients are pleased with their results. While this will vary by filler product, most will produce results lasting from 3 months to a full year.
The price for an injectable filler treatment will vary depending on how many syringes will be needed and product used.

Injectable Filler FAQ's
Are Fillers Safe?
All injectable fillers on the market today are FDA-approved and are safe to use. It is important to discuss the differences between each filler treatment to decide which is the best choice for your specific situation.
The results of each injectable filler treatment will vary. On average, most will last between 3 months and a full year. Restylane, Juvederm and Perlane are among some of the most common fillers and usually last 6 months or longer. Fat injections will last the shortest amount of time because a portion will reabsorb into the body within several months.
Fillers VS. BOTOX?
Injectable fillers help to decrease wrinkles by adding volume to smooth the skin’s surface. BOTOX, Dysport and Xeomin offer a result that looks and acts similar, but with a different approach. These treatments use a neurotoxic agent injected into the skin to temporarily freeze overactive muscles causing wrinkles. When the muscles relax, the visible wrinkles on the outer layer of the skin relax and soften, resulting in a smoother, younger appearance.
