Nasal fracture repair rhinoplasty corrects a broken bone in the nose after a facial trauma or injury. Patients generally see their primary care physician or an emergency care facility immediately after they suspect the nose is broken, but then it can be helpful to have a trained plastic surgeon, such as Dr. Steven White in Dallas, TX, to re-set and re-shape the nose for the best aesthetic results. Dr. White is a specialist in reconstructive and otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat) surgery so he will perform a rhinoplasty that ensures treatment of the patient’s medical concerns and creating the most attractive physical result.
Rhinoplasty - Nasal Fracture Reviews
"Here's the thing about rhinoplasty: It's a big deal. Your nose is literally the center of your face. The very same procedure that can have untold positive effects can also be an utter catastrophe in the wrong hands. While you probably already know how awful things could turn out if you had a bad nose job, chances are you don't even realize just how positively your life will change once you take the plunge with a talented and skilled professional. Dr. White could not be more suited to this profession and SPECIFICALLY to this procedure. Your ONLY goal should be to have the nicest nose possible that matches your unique face and comes with zero compromises to your internal health. The only way this happens is when an experienced surgeon who understands the human body is ALSO an artist and a perfectionist who will spend literally an entire day working on your face just because he cares as much- if not more- than you. Don't fall for flashy marketing or attractive prices you found online somewhere. Go book a consultation, Dr. White and his incredible team will take care of the rest."- S.T. / Google / Jan 10, 2020
"The most important factor in obtaining a good result from your cosmetic surgery is the surgeon you choose to perform it. I am so proud of the decision I’ve made to choose Dr. White. If I had researched this much for my schoolwork, I would have gotten A’s on my papers. This is probably the only good thing that happened in my life in 2020!I had rhinoplasty second week of June. I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am. I had no pain, mild congestion (of course!). Not any surgeon would have done this, you need an artist and a real doctor like Dr. White. The only uncomfortable part was the sleeping position. Besides the shape and size, the best part is that I can breathe!! I already like it with the swelling, and I know I’m going to love it when the swelling goes down."- P. / Healthgrades / Aug 03, 2020
"Dr. White and his entire staff (Melanie, Jamie, and Ashley) were absolutely amazing during my entire rhinoplasty process. Dr. White's sublime skills as a surgeon are equaled by the stellar professionalism of his staff. Highly, strongly, and without hesitation recommend Dr. White."- J.Z. / Google / Nov 05, 2021
"I just left Dr. White’s office, and as always, they are just amazing. I had a rhinoplasty done recently. The entire experience with Dr White, Melanie and his whole staff was wonderful and I’m already so happy with the results. Dr White is so personable and caring and really takes the time to spend with you and discuss what to expect during and after your procedure. I particularly love how meticulous he is with his work, especially with scarring. I am getting ready to have my tummy tuck done next week. I know I am in good hands with Dr White and his staff and look forward to getting this one done so I can move on to my breast lift. Haha"- K.E. / Google / Dec 01, 2021
"Dr. White is truly a master at his craft. I had a septo, rhino, and turbinoplasty done by him a month ago. I was hesitant since I’ve never had a surgery or any sort and anesthesia scared me for that reason but he has an amazing anesthesiologist Dr.Zipper who made it feel like it was nothing cause I was out and up within 5 minutes and my surgery was done. It was insane to me. My results are so good it’s honestly scary I had no idea that this is what breathing is supposed to feel like. This was the most beneficial thing I could’ve ever done for myself and I’m so glad I picked Dr.White. From the start he explained everything I needed and what he thought would benefit me and I’m glad I listened it’s been a month so I’m still a bit swollen but the results speak for themselves. He and his whole staff is super attentive and caring about you before, during, and after the surgery. It also helps that they’re all good looking people which honestly was a factor to why I picked him over other doctors who seemed like they didn’t care about who they hired or the patients. Incredibly happy with my decision and my new functioning nose is all I could ever ask for and more."- S.F. / Google / Jan 28, 2022
Nasal fracture surgery repairs the bones of the nose that have been broken as well as any injuries to the cartilage or nasal septum. Dr. White will check for specific concerns, such as septal hematoma which can lead to a saddle nose deformity, or a septal deviation with a physical examination and if needed, an X-ray or CT scan. Once Dr. White and the patient have discussed what areas of the nose need to be treated, a nasal fracture repair rhinoplasty can be performed.
Rhinoplasty after a nasal fracture is best done within 2 weeks of the original injury, but Dr. White is still able to help patients who are past this point. Rhinoplasty for a nasal fracture can be performed in an accredited surgical facility with the patient under general anesthesia or in his office with local anesthetics, including numbing creams and numbing injections. Rhinoplasty after a nasal fracture is usually performed with closed approach. Dr. White will manually move the broken bone or bones back into the correct position without any incisions. After Dr. White has the nasal bones and cartilage in the correct place, a cast will be placed over the nose to keep the nose in place and protected. The cast is usually removed at the patient’s first follow up appointment, 1 week after the procedure.
